Founded by Richard Harpin and Jeremy Middleton in 1993 with the backing of South Staffordshire Water: the winning idea was to remove homeowners’ worries about rogue tradesmen and big repair bills by offering plumbing and drainage cover for a small annual fee.

Today, HomeServe is an international home repairs and improvements business which provides people with access to tradespeople and technology to help them run their homes more easily.

HomeServe operates in 8 countries, offering home assistance cover to over 100 million homeowners through over 1100 utility partners.
